Personal Bio

My life really began at age fifteen, when I accepted Jesus. Since then, I've had my ups and downs, but seek to keep Him number one.

In late 2005, I embraced the man I waited a lifetime to meet. Our unbridled romance swept us up and carried us into marriage within seven long months. George, my husband, is God's gift to me. I couldn't have asked for a better person to complete me.

A few weeks after our wedding a positive line showed up on a pregnancy test. We planned to use birth control, but Evelyn Rose started her life and came into the world in April of 2007. She is a beautiful ball of energy - my little lightbulb. Her life caused us to question our use of birth control and since then we have decided to abstain from any form of birth control. God has full control of how many children we have, and at this rate, we expect many blessings and chocolate-covered walls.

George Jr. was born in August of 2008 and he is a charming little guy. Always smiling, always happy, always content - well, as content as a baby can be.

We are also expecting our third child (gender still unknown) in May/June of 2010.

Eventually, we hope to adopt a child as well. I have a lot of passion for orphans and George is one of the most sensitive daddy's I have ever known. Together, we hope to love a child who will no longer wake up to a parentless dawn. Through prayer and time God will lead us where He sees fit. For now, we are waiting to see what He has planned.

More about me? Let's see ... I am very serious about my relationship with Jesus and I want nothing more than to show the world His love through my actions. Some people call me "extreme," but I'm just living the life He has called me to. I'm following Him, and to this world that IS extreme. It's the most extreme, difficult, painful, but rewarding thing we could ever do with our lives. And if you ask me, it's the only thing worth doing with my life.

My passion for Him overflows into every area of life. Well, maybe not always, but that is my hope.

Thankfully God balanced my extremity with my husband's temperance, otherwise we'd be moving our family into syringe-laden streets and pouring our hearts out to the poor. For now, we'll settle for a house somewhere else and love the poor in other ways.

I'm also very passionate about loving and reaching out to women involved in the porn industry and I'm a huge advocate of The Pink Cross Foundation founded by Shelley Lubben. That is something I would have never expected to say, ever, but God is amazing and He changes me daily.

I could go on and on about everything I am passionate about, but I'll mention two more things that are dear to my heart. My little sister, Courtney. She was diagnosed with Autism during her toddler years, and since then I have developed a love for helping children with disabilities, all kinds of disabilities. And lastly, I have a heart for teens (especially since it hasnt been long since I was a teen). Having smoked weed, lost my virginity, and given my parents an interesting ride before I hit age fifteen, there's a lot I want to say to young women to keep them from traveling the same dark roads. I want them to know they are a gift, a precious gift waiting for their future spouses, a gift that shouldn't be opened by anyone but their future spousse.

Ultimately, I love Jesus, my darling family, being a wife and mommy, and of course, writing.
